Suggestion: Mount> Cloud's Bike

Got a suggestion. How about they focus less on mounts, minions, emotes and vanity crap and more on server resources and getting this game up to snuff so everyone has the ability to enjoy all aspects of the game. Once they can stop using server stability, resources, strain as an excuse then go back to the crap that seems to be taking frontline priority so far in this game.

I'd be fine with it, I loved having my motorcycle in .hack so...

I'd rather not for two reasons.

First: There's enough lore-breaking stuff in the game as-is, largely from the cross-promotional events. They've been largely tame so far (other than the DQ events. That slime hat looks utterly ridiculous) and have only been clothing items. If they start introducing mounts, that'd break lore even further, as if to say "Why don't we have more vehicles like this about?" and suddenly, people question why we even bother with chocobos anymore. It's a mess.

Second: Motorcycles are fast. Like, really fast. Faster than every other mount in the game five-fold fast. So either they have to nerf a motorcycle to only be able to go 10MPH or less (which is unrealistic from a physics standpoint due to balance and momentum), or buff every other mount's speed to unrealistic levels just to make things fair.

Motorcycles in .hack//? Since when did they replace Grunties with those contraptions? Blasphemy, I say!

It's called FINAL FANTASY game, ever heard of that? You know the branded FINAL FANTASY that spawned 15 games in the series? So yes, Fan Service is a must. Story and lore be damned. You have your main story, all the other fancy useless junk and minion, pretty gears that do nothing but making you look cute can all come flooding the game without having a relevant story whatsoever. Let those who wants to dress like other FF iconic characters get their wish. When you have a strong brand like FF, it would be silly to not take advantage of all of those iconic characters. The only main goal for this game is to make money and provide "fun-addictive-accessible" short term "candy crush" type of entertainment. Log in-log out, take your daily ride, cap your weekly, and go do OTHER STUFFS and STOP PLAYING THIS GAME more than 3 hours a day.

I think you're confusing Final Fantasy with the Tales of franchise.

thinking about it, if SE converted Shiva in a motorbike in FF13, they can Convert Lalafells in Motorbike in FFXIV.
