Petition to roll back Personal Housing

I would like to see the system change drastically, I don't think you need a roll back for that though. If for example they change it to an instance like a initially mog room size (inn) you can upgrade over time to a loft, apartment, house, mansion, farm ect ect (instance system means sky is the limit, until they make the sky higher... :P).

All you would have to do is refund the amount over what it costs. Spent 5mil, new housing apartment costs 800K refund the difference. Then they can choose to plug that money right back in to upgrade the facilities, or if you were poor you could at least hope to have a house this century lol.

As much as I don't like how they implemented personal housing, rolling back the servers would be the worst thing they could do. They made a decision, implemented it, and now we have to live with it. But what they can do is work to make sure they give everyone a fair opportunity to own land in the future. I'm holding out hope they're going to add instanced housing plots with gardens available for people who aren't quick and lucky enough to snag a plot in a neighborhood, especially on larger servers ( like mine ) where the smalls all sell out within the first 20 minutes of them being online. This would be in addition rather than in place of the current system, of course.

I have faith they're listening and will do what they can to fix the situation.

Sorry, I disagree with some of the decisions made with this new patch but at this point there is really no excuse for a Free Company to not have gotten a house yet if it has been around longer than a month and has more than three members.

There are more Free Companies than there are plots. Something like 8 times more.

I bought a house but I really think that this whole system is a big mistake. I would actually not mind at all if they rolled back all playerbought housing and refunded the amount paid/put all housing items (even bound ones) back as unbound into my inventory, then actually made PROPER housing.

Dear Yoshida,

Please roll back personal housing that you introduced in 2.38

Reasons being:
1. It makes it more difficult for Free Conpanies to get their guild house
2. It is inequitable in that it only allows a very small percentage of the population to have personal housing

Please release it only when SE is ready

They are not gonna roll back personal housing because it is too late. Players already got their houses (and before you stuff me with straw, I'm not one of those players). And if it took SE 9 months to do this then they are never gonna be ready for Personal housing

Since they screw up housing, maybe we should have A Housing Reborn. The whole point is that housing is just an addon feature. I do not understand why ppl are so upset about it. Move on and there will be wards available.

The point is poor expectations management and betrayal

All they need to do is make Private Rooms for everyone at the three City-state Inns, and then work on an add on for Private Rooms which adds a balcony (Inns) or green house (FC house) to allow some Gardening to be done there.

If they were smart, Private Rooms never would have been tied to FC houses. If they're learning, they'll get at least half of that in for 2.4. If everyone could have what is effectively half a small house, then I'd be perfectly fine with the actual housing market being a competitive scene for "I have too much Gil" d*ck waving.
