IMPORTANT POLL: What is your housing situation in Patch 2.38

This is my situation too. I logged in as soon as the servers went up and had the option to purchase a small plot in both lavender beds or mist, and decided to wait until 2.4 for a couple reasons. The biggest reason is they said they are adding "2 additional wards".

I personally am hoping that one of these wards is coerthas or mor dhona. I'd like to own a house in one of these zones.

Having said that, those available small plots were gone within the first hour.

You misunderstood, when they said adding two wards they meant adding two more wards in the current housing areas, which they already did, ward 7 and 8 in each housing area. With 2.4 they plan to add 6 more wards to the existing housing areas, there are no plans for new residential areas atm.

Not really if you sum up the choices directly opposed to that one.
30% said they have bought a house.
44% said that they want a house but they either coudn't afford them or weren't any left.

The other choices are not relevant because they lack the interest of owning a house.
Ohh and 200 votes is too few to make a static....you'd need around 1000 votes to make a reliable trend

While I appreciate the effort you're doing, I'm afraid your poll is actually poorly designed. For starters it doesn't reflect the nature of the various servers which by themselves are different. Also it doesn't account for individuals who have multiple issues.

The main reason would be waiting to see if there is a new housing area in Coerthas.

My FC was looking to buy a small house since we are only 12 members. All those were sold in the 1st hour on Balmung. I think even if the personal housing wasn't shared w/ the FC wards they still would have sold rather quickly. We will continue to save and hope to get lucky when 2.4 is released or opt for a larger house if we can afford it.

Well the problem is the poll should really be multi question or multi selection. For example people might not have saved enough and might not have a plot available of the size they want. Two different issues entirely there but the poll design doesn't allow for it thus doesn't give an accurate readout. Some might have a house but had to buy a cheaper one then the one they wanted. Another person might be happy with the FC house they have but still wanted them cheaper or a larger plot. Quite a few things that can't be taken into account with a one question one response poll like this.

Sorry to go on about it, but polling is actually a fairly large industry used by many corporations and when it's flawed it gives inaccurate readings. Plus sometimes the 'flaws' are intentional to guide the response towards one direction (not saying what you're doing, but it does happen).

There was no option for this and I dunno if it matters, but I bought a house, a personal room and I have access to everything in my FCs hall. I'm not happy that personal housing doesn't have their own wards. And it was scary when there was a possibly that I'd miss out on buying a house once the servers went up, but otherwise I'm satisfied with the game in this area. :3
