To YoshiP: I don't see the point of feedback if your going to be this opaque about what is going on in the development process and you ignore what we say anyway. This seems like your going back to the bad old days of 1.0 where you just announced whatever and just went with it.

I am not at all happy about the prices on the personal housing. Yoshi said it would be more affordable than the FC housing - I recall him saying this. This is not imagined. I think my biggest issue is SE continues to bottleneck their subscribers on content. This is tiresome - and this is just not in the housing. It's several factors within this game. This is what is called the proverbial cock blocking - continuously doing this creates the "blue balls" effect, which isn't healthy.

With that being said, time for me to save up towards Medium housing plot!! lol

Give us back FFXI Moghouses. More than 10 years ago, personal housing was done right. We don't need a full house. We just need personal instances that we can decorate, farm 4 farming plots for very basic gardening, and invite our friends into it. The fact that you're forcing individuals to compete with FCs for housing spots is absolutely ridiculous and introduces competition in a part of the game where there should be no competition. FC houses are already semi-exclusive and limited. That's ok, as they provide a large financial advantage via large farming plots, but *personal* housing is the housing that is supposed to be guaranteed to every player, should be much smaller than FC housing, and accessible. On full servers, like Gilgamesh, FCs are already watching housing like vultures waiting for spots to open up. Doubling the housing limit isn't going to fix this problem after you add personal housing to the mix.

No one is complaining about the prices. We're willing to fork out gil for a personal house. We're complaining about the incredibly lazy approach to just throwing personal housing into the FC housing system with no regard to what it will do to the already scarce housing plots. There were so many other alternatives, almost all of which would have been much better. I'm very disappointed in SE and this development decision.

The problem is that Yoshida is afraid to pull the proverbial trigger on spending the money required for server upgrades. They keep running into these hardware roadblocks and refusing to do anything about them, even though they're causing such significant development/customer satisfaction problems.

I'd love to see the proof on this. With years of IT experience, I can say "just add more servers" is not an instant cure all.

I would like to hit like in the OPs post a million times if possible. I also feel mislead over this, as it was never even hinted it would be another "landgrab and if you not logged when servers go live your out of luck" and the pricing is just a joke, not that prices matter since busy servers have none on offer, you should of called this "the rmt patch" as their the only ones to benefit from it

And after all this....I learn when I log in from someone that you can't even share your personal house, if you manage to get one by some miracle, with anybody else.

This disappointments just keep stacking on. Gotta wonder why they even bothered. Is the person I spoke to wrong? Can you share a personal house with someone else? Or do you have to live completely alone?

Because if it's the latter, getting an individual house is SO not worth it. Especially with this terrible implementation.

i have been looking for personal housing since 1.0.. i was so looking forward to today, to be /slap -ed in the face with SE new emote and then Yoshi expects me to accept his /hug with an apology saying . sorry server limitations??? i mean seriously Yoshi read your system requirements before buying the game and make sure you pc can at least run minimum!. why arent you guys investing in more hardware if the servers are being run almost at max capacity?. i want to know who in the logistics team came up with the numbers that 2 wards on each server were enough for 2.3m players.. and their FC..
