Yoshida: First, we'll be adding land in patch 2.38, and it will then be possible to purchase personal housing, but the issue of how many plots to add will be under discussion until right up to the last minute. Just the other night we had a meeting which included Kasuga about even more additional plots and what kind of plans they have in order to accommodate them.

If you can buy land you can build a house on it. I'm not sure why they've been more or less silent lately, but probably just prepping the patch(es) and getting ready for TGS. No reason to think that the things they've said multiple times will be in this patch won't be.

Hope so. Well I'm looking forward to it in any case. I'm all gilled and sealed up. Unless we have to make the house for glazenuts in which case I'm screwed

I agree with this. Typically they would have released something by now. Anything. When personal rooms were being released, they mentioned it on the Loadstone Topics along with the cost and requirements to have one. I think personal housing has been pushed back, I'm not expecting it in 2.38.

Just shooting in the dark here, I think they'll announce the delay along with the patch notes/release tomorrow. Perhaps they are still attempting to have personal housing released tomorrow and are holding off until they know for sure?? Just a guess.
