    patch 2.45

    isn't about time we start looking forward to a PVP patch, I love to have a tag team partner 2v2, see new styles; I even have friend that is only missing 2-i100 style.

    We should expect i110, with the new morale FL boost, as well as, 5-11 PVP style, and a PVP rank increase.

    What I hope we see is GC special abilities and bonus.

    Speaking of a PvP patch, has there been mention of when new updates/content for PvP? I know Yoshi-P wants to add some maps and map rotations for GC's in FL, but what about WD?

    Nah they need to keep morale out. "gear up so u wipe the floor with undergeared noobs" mentality is dead now in FF ( and every other decent mmo ), and se know this, if you haven't realised @FL -->Huge success. WD-->Epic failure. Learn to play on an even playing field. Theres enough damn grind in this game, can't we keep pvp free from this? I want to have fun in pvp, not more grind T_T And heres a pure fact for you: If they bring FL geared as optional BG, it would be dead. End of story. Only geared people would do it ( obviously ) and then they realise that they don't have undergeared noobs to destroy, but only equally over geared people, and thus we have gone full circle creating a 2nd equalized BG. ---->Useless. And undergeared people would NEVER go in there since they can get wolf points in equalized FL, so rip that idea.

    On the matter of FL, they need to ditch GC vs GC vs GC, and simply make it 24 vs 24 vs 24. Really people, please speak up for this. On odin all are in "maelstronk", queue times are awful, why? Because how can we queue 3 different teams when all are in the same retarded autowin GC???

    OP I agree with you 100%, we DO need a pvp patch, but in all honesty I think they need to address and fix what we have before implementing new stuff.

    well most of that stuff is slated for 2.38, but i didn't hear about anything on gear or added maps for .38 so maybe the live letter or patch notes will fill use in

    YoshiP: From now on, the focus will be on both Wolf's Den and the Frontline for the future updates. Forexmaple, we will expand futher on the Frontline battlescale. It is highly possible that an new battlefield will be open.

    吉田 外壁やドアを壊さないと内部に入れないタイプの陣地を追加する……といった拡張のパターンを考えています。その際には、クラフターが製作したシージウェポン(攻城兵器)をグラウンドターゲットで設置して砦を攻撃するなど、そういったアップデートなどを考えていきたいと思っています。

    YoshiP: Putting into Siege element such as breakthrough enemy wall or door type of combat. When this is putting into desgin, there will also be player craftable siege weapon to be put into the game.

    Basically, the Frontline will tied to internal conflcit of interest between three GCs and expand further from it. The Frontline PvP is basically heading towards Guild War 2 direction instead of World of Warcraft. Yes, their original intention is to develope Grand Company uniqued PvP actions as we can see that in our PvP profile section. PvP actions is divided into GCs.

    ps. There is one more section about GC afflication I didnt translate, but I am not bother to do it because people will just enrage once they heard aobut it.

    I would give Yoshi lots of props if he actually plan to let crafters and gatherers be integral roles in siege combat (like hamlet). Stronger siege machines by crafting HQ pieces. Sneaking around the map to gather important mining/harvesting nodes. Protecting your crafters and gatherers or go for the enemies' workers. RTS elements in MY large scale pvp? Yes please! Also if you doubt that something like this work, check out Fantasy Earth Zero an RTS PVP MMORPG made by Square Enix that is very popular in Japan.

    WvWvW is flat-out horrible in GW2. Not to mention quite dead considering most of the good Guilds/players are gone now since there's been little content released for it. I really hope they don't think it's something worth emulating in this game.
