Miqo'te's Nose

If I remember correctly, since it was a long time ago and all, this is how it was in 1.0. They all had fangs (I remember having fangs lol) and you could choose between slit or normal eyes regardless of clan. I could just be losing my mind and remembering everything all wrong though XD

Maybe during 1.0 alpha, but not 1.0 beta.

I started with 1.0 beta and I remember that Seekers of the Sun had slit eyes, normal teeth, shorter tail, normal skin color.
Keeper of the Moon had normal eyes, fangs, longer tail, bleached hair colors (less saturated than the ones from the sun seekers) and skin colors were shades of corpse white, bluish grey and night black.

I don't think an option for it would make sense at all. I'm not saying I'm against it but, biologically, how weird would it be for people of the same race for some to have a human nose while their sibling might have a cat nose.

Given that there apparently is some interracial mixing anyway, it's not that hard to justify. The mi'qote who have a human nose would be those with more hyur influence in their bloodline, and the more cat-like nose would be from the original mi'qote. If it's a recessive trait, even siblings could have different shaped noses, in the same way siblings can have different hair colors.

how hard is it to add a dark nose to the game

It's not about how dark or light the nose is. It's a question of whether it's shaped more like a human or cat nose. But yeah, given that there are a few nose shape options already, adding another shouldn't be too hard.

Only Keepers of the Moon have the sharp canines.

Well, in theory Keepers should have sharp canines. At least the description of the race/clan says so. But on the character creation screen, both Keepers and Seekers are in fact displayed with the same squared off human teeth. My mi'qote would have been a Keeper if they actually got cat-like teeth. I was rather disappointed by the fact they didn't when I was making the character, so made him a Seeker instead. At least that way I get the eyes, which is better than nothing.

This is 100% false, they DO get longer, sharper canines. It's hard to see on the character creation, but if you look carefully when you pick out your character's voice (causes their mouth to open for the emotes) you will see the difference. My Keeper has fangs.

Well if by "hard to see on the character creation" you mean "totally absent on the character creation screen" then maybe. I don't know how a Keeper's teeth appear within the game itself. But on the character creation screen, when you do the voice emotes to get them to open their mouth so you can see the teeth, both Keepers and Seekers have completely squared off human teeth. And yeah, I checked for it. That's why I decided to change my Mi'qote from Keeper to Seeker. (Then when I moved to PS4, I checked again, just in case the PS3 version had more limited options, but there was no difference. Keepers still get square teeth according to the character creation screen.)

The teeth aren't absent. You can see them during some of the emotes.

That's being awfully generous. If anything, FFXIV's races are just diluted versions of FFXI races. Less differentiated traits, more human-like overall... so actually less creative than the original races' designs.

Nekogirls should only have ears, tail, eyes and canines of a cat. Everything else must be human, otherwise it borders into zoophilia.

I just wish there were nose options for the face I'm using that were better blended to my skintone. I like the face shape, and wouldn't want to change it, but I would change the nose in a heartbeat if they gave us even just one nose option that wasn't darker than the rest of the face. Even if the tip was dark like a cat's but the rest of it matched the skintone, that would be cute IMO.
