How much do you think personal housing will be?

I'm hoping it'll be somewhere in the 1 to 2 million range. If it starts higher then I also hope for a steady, periodic drop like they did with FC housing. As for different sizes, I'm also leaning towards there only being one size versus the multiples available to FCs. And for god's sake, please let me have my own garden. Fighting for garden space isn't fun. -_-

Perhaps they could implement a single starting size personal house for everyone to have a chance at owning their own home, and then give players the option to top-up more in the future to increase number of floors/room/space.

The additional purchases can be done via an npc, giving SE the ability to temporarily halt these top-ups should there be insufficient server space.

But I doubt SE will implement such a thing, and will instead just sell 3 sizes of housing gated behind exorbitant prices that will slowly decrease over time. ._.

New small FC house costs 4m.

If they got different size like FC houses,
I think small would be 1~2mio
medium 4~5,
large 5~10+,

tbh I don't really expect them to make them for low costs if they want to get rid of the money ingame. :/

This is how FFXIs housing was done and its probably going to be the same. Heck FC housing is already done this way.

you will not be able to access your house until you have a "front door key" the key is obtained via a random 1% rng chance drop from coil t9, which must then be desynthed to obtain a 5% RNG chance item, which is then used by 3-star master crafters to create your "front door key"

these keys will sell for upwards to 20mil each on the market board.

I am trying to figure out a good amount to save up to get a personal house. Does anyone have any ideas or heard anything about how much they should cost?
Have we been given much info on them? Will there be different sizes and wards like FCs are now?

I really really want one but I am not sure how much gil I should need. Since personal rooms are 300k, I am having a bit of a hard time extrapolating how much a full house is worth from that.

lol, how much ya got? Because I really dont think YoshiP got the memo about all the complaints regarding the ridiculously expensive FC housing (or laughed maniacally at them). Dumb as it sounds that personal housing might cost the same (or more) as FC housing, I wouldnt doubt they'd take advantage of the demand because, you know, "gold sinks."

Personally I think they should just do it like Wildstar has. Your own little instanced property where you can go crazy placing all kinds of crap into. No it doesnt need to be some manufactured personal floating island (even though magic floating islands kind of fit with FF). I mean look at THIS thread

Its unbelievable what players have done. And the best part is its dirt cheap to start. By level 15(?) you have your own land, and a basic starter home. Yet the system is so deep and complex that players have WANTED to spend tons of gold buying parts to customize it to their liking.

THIS is how housing is done SE!!! This is what players prefer. What you have now is just a slightly improved copy of the LOTRO housing, and those became ghost towns really quickly.
