A minion and a painting? Seems pretty cool to me, they didn't have to give us anything!

omg I can finally have Hildy in my room, I love it!
Did you see my badge? I'm a professional!
If expecting something special after 1 year sub, it is maybe for the 2 years subs. All the rest are in-between rewards and I enjoy them as they are.
Then, just remember none of those rewards are something we got any special rights to get or deserve by law, they are gifts.
I will never blame who gives me a gift. It is insane doing so![]()
That. I wouldn't put it so bluntly, but the point is valid - I'm not very sure what to think of the assumption that by that time we all will have a private room (note the amount of energy/time needed to get to where you can buy one) or a personal house to put it in. Some might not even be able to play more than 6-10 hours a week. The picture doesn't seem appropriate. Furnishings made sense to give out in XI because you got a free room to decorate. Unless they let us redecorate our inn rooms or give out personal housing for free it's kinda crappy to give people things they might not even be able to use.
Not to mention that Hildibrand...well, let's just say he's pretty much a divisive character. People either love him or hate him, from what I've seen, there's no real middle ground. His portrait should be more appropriate to be earned (maybe crafted?) in his questline, I think; for veteran reward, if going with a portrait, I feel Louisoix would be a better choice. (Or something similar: maybe a replica of his staff, the one that hangs in the Waking Sands.)
I'm not impressed with the current veteran rewards. Some of them are nice but overall I feel they can give better and cooler rewards without breaking the in game content.
the only reward thats kinda good is the behemoth mount, the best of the rewards for this game sucks to say the least, should see what other game put for loyalty rewards. even the 1 year anniversary events in this game is boring as hell. SE really need to work on their events
I already surrendered when i saw back then the 360 days reward.
Obviusly SE doesn`t care about our loyalty, only our money, isn`t hard to create something good and special, that makes you feel rewarded and actually, in consideration of the company, but hey, SE is lazy to develop even veteran rewards which they give each 3 months.
I'm happy we get anything. They didn't have to give anybody anything. Blizzard still doesn't.
If you are going to do things, do them right.
If they are going to keep giving crap away that in no way but some mounts and minions, are of any significance to the player, just don`t do anything and put those things behind another grindwall like the rest of this games content.
Well I don't know about you but I paid for two minions that happen to come with free music. Are people paying for the veteran rewards, or for the game? I thought the veteran rewards were supposed to be something fun and a nice bonus, what I'm actually getting for my veteran status is access to the game I want to play.
Maybe that's just me? Personally I am ridiculously excited to get a Gilgamesh minion, and I've been wondering about that potrait since I spied it in the video. Awesome rewards are awesome \o/but seriously yeah they are extra freebies, and not something I need to keep a subscription going for, or pay with the cards in advanced to be world's first with the vet rewards. Then go AFK on Mor Dhona showing it off. The only thing I thought was meh so far were the tickets.
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
