The point is some FATEs take an absurd amount of time, it's not even "working" or "hunting"! It's waiting lol
Personally I feel like B should be Daily, get rid of the FATE ones and make it the normal mobs plus a B for 50 seals a day (total of 62 seals a day).
That way we can actually start killing the Bs again & people that don't want to have to deal with the jerks in hunt parties can still earn seals at a reasonable rate. Win for everyone imo ^_^b
And I suppose you think the same thing of "Atma Hunting" too right? You have to "wait around" for the fate to pop that gives you the Atma.../eyeroll

Players these days, can't tell the difference between working for something and getting it baby-fed to them because MMO makers can't seem to create a challenging game anymore...

Well, if it was "do this specific Fate and you'll get your atma stone", I guess it'd be sort of the same. If you needed a couple of hundreds of atma stones to do anything with them, at least. But with Atma hunting, it doesn't matter WHICH Fate you do: it just needs to be in the right region/map. So you're not just waiting around, even if doing low-level Fates can be mind-numbingly boring at times. And if you get tired of it you can take a break from it and continue another day, since the Atma quest doesn't have a reset time.

For these daily hunt marks, you know precisely which Fate you need to do to get your 10 seals and you know where that Fate spawns. And at least half of the time you either won't get anything worthwhile from doing other Fates in the area (wrong area, don't have zenith yet, already got your atma weapon, already have atma stone for that area, don't have any other classes to level up anymore....you name it) so all you do is sit there in one spot and wait. Sure, you can go do other things, but then you risk that the Fate spawns while you're away, and you'll have to wait for just as long when you return. And you have to do your two Fates before 3pm GMT the next day or you won't be able to pick up the next daily hunts without discarding the current ones.

That's not working. That's not difficult -- other than the struggle to hold on to your patience and/or avoid falling asleep in your chair.

At least with the B marks (now that the zerg rush on those is over) there is a certain element of hunting to it, since you need to find where it's spawned.

And Hipsters nowadays really can't tell the difference between actually fun content and mind numbing content that takes forever.
Atma is not the same as hunts. Like said above you run around doing every fate that pops for atma, that was fine. But waiting 3+ hours for ONE fate for 10 seals, is not working for anything, its just wasting time that you could go out and kill one A hunt and, Oh! look you double what you would have gotten for the fate... -_-

Face it you are the minority in this debate, it seems most people agree that the Fate aspect of Hunts really is not hunting at all & should be addressed.
Also I totally just realized you're on my server -_- *sigh*

I really don't see why you are trying to argue it, how making B rank a daily instead of a weekly effects you negatively idk.
Maybe you're just one of those people who has way too much time on their hands & enjoys these waste of time content but a lot of us would actually like to DO something instead of watching Netflix waiting for 1 FATE...

I had to find my thread again but yeah, this.

I trust you didn't notice that I actually have my Curtana Novus on my Paladin so I've done the grind? So how about you lay off the whole "these kids these days, can't do anything challenging"

The whole point of a "daily" is to be able to do the event on a daily basis. On a random system where it can take anywhere between 1 to 4 hours to spawn the required FATE for said daily, it doesn't jive.

So how about you stop giving me the "holier-than-thou" attitude and realize that your complaints are pretty silly as the system was meant to be able to be done in a day when it obviously has situations. I've done the grind for my gear and obviously I don't mind it as I have the bloody Novus upgrade. This one, however, strikes me as a wrong move because, simply put, the FATE system is random and can interfere with someone being able to do it in a day.

Worse is that this post wasn't even because it was for Allied Marks that I was complaining about. It really is because the implementation of the system makes no sense. Plus 1 for assumption!
