Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

Since I'm stuck in this black loop... I took an earlier suggestion and I decided to try the math route and try to floor all my values to 0 by alternating Apples, Pears, Berries until I'm at 0 5 0. From there I began alternating valfruit, pineapple, plums until I hit a range of 40 35 30. This is with the theory that the values alternate +/- 5 on each feed.

This may just have been a huge waste of fruit, but at least this will give me some peace of mind. If this doesn't work I'm gonna work back to Ink Blue and call it good until a more concrete method emerges.

I'll be back in 3.5 hours to report.

According to calculator: 17/14/-19 to Black.

What do i need to feed him to decrease to 0/0/0 ???

Yeah, believe me, I know exactly how you feel. If I posted my data log in total, you'd probably want to jump out a window due to how many times I've had the chance to hit Soot Black. Since I typed my theory out last, I came up with another equation. I'm testing it and taking another 6 hour+ risk with it, so hopefully I don't screw this up. In any case, if I'm right about my Kobold Brown theory, then I'll have you to thank specifically for proving if it actually works or not. Apologies in advance if I'm wrong. I just don't know what else to do.

Unfortunately, my chocobo became deepwood green. I'm just going to feed it one valfruit at this point and hope for the best.

Bought 5 O'ghomoro Berries and the third gave me a message! Stopped right there and will check what it gives me from apple green.
Whatever happens: Still 2 berries left and just harvested 27 pears.

What to feed?? I cant afford to try on my own. Ive took an expensive route, over 70 fruits. Storm Blue > Royal Blue > Abyssal Blue > Midnight Blue and im here atm.

What should i feed my chocobo for his last meal ?

Unfortunately, my chocobo became deepwood green. I'm just going to feed it one valfruit at this point and hope for the best.

I'm hoping there's some RNG involved and if you just keep looping thru the three dark colors eventually the RNG will knock you in to Soot Black.

I tried a recipe someone had posted for Ice Blue and my choco came out Lotus Pink
soo i reset and am going for yellow, and try to move on from there

Keep in mind that Soot Black is not 0/0/0. It's 37/35/30. Perhaps a Pineapple, oddly enough, would do the trick.

The result is Midnight Blue.at least its get closer to soot black and i'm really satisfy,i think i need a little more push.
Here is my Method | 3 Pineapple 2 Apple 2 Pear : feed in this order and get "grow feathers" message from first fruit to the last.

This time i've got Loam Brown.i think i'm still on the right track here.let's compare this

From Midnight Blue to Loam Brown,I've manage to control the Numbers in proper order,the rest is deepen them all to soot black but i think i might need to hit Kobold Brown first .. Anyway i fed him with 3 berry 2 pear 1 apple.this method should lower green to get closer to blue but won't less than blue as same as red that won't lower than green.if my theory is right,i will get Kobold Brown or Soot Black.
