PSN is down

I read about this while at work around late noon. I just got home, 7:45 PM est.. and it's working fine.

As I said previously my PSN works but I just tried FF14 on ps4 again after seeing you post and it still is not working, I get the maintenance error

are you on ps3 or ps4? Cuz I'm on ps4 in California, and it's not letting me connect still.

On PS4 as well, cannot connect either, even though it says that PSN is online in the playstation website. It says that they're aware of the problem and we may continue to have them for a "while". I can access everything PSN-related on my PS3, so it seems that PS4 users are still facing this problem.

I was able to sign in to PSN on PS4 in Kentucky, U.S. but not able to get to FFXIV.
