    I rather get more customization options for what we have now. And I mean body customization, no just how tall my character is. I'd really like to do Human Male. But tall and slim. Not tall and generic. Generic do not fit into my imagination of crazy, mage sitting all day on books ;p.

    A bump for this thread now we have confirmation from Yoshi-P that they're aiming to have female Roegadyn and male Miqo'te for PS3 release! Possible edit into OP? Personally a little sad there's no mention for female highlanders, but it's understandable and I'll take what I can get

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

    i've been on a long break, but have they given us a possibly AIMED for release date for the ps3? and will we be able to possibly switch our current characters over to our preferred gender/race?
