WHY ARE YOU PLAYING A BARD IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SING?!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but right now there isn't any support roles yet in duty finder? Right? Until they fix that for bard it'll always be a dps, and I pride myself as being a good damage dealing bard due to my dps, of course I play songs but when it's needed, not when it's magically expected, I'll play foes whenever I can but when you expect a ballad make a macro and ask for it, focusing on dps is a job and it's not soemthing I expect people to understand who don't try to maximize their roles to its absolute potential, as in dps, sorry to sound smart ass

A label doesn't make something so. I could label a Warrior a healer but does it make it a healer? Sing the songs when they are needed. Or perhaps I should throw up cleric stance, ignore healing and "Pride" myself on being a better DPS then whoever. We do what can to help our pt. that is everyone's job. Screw labels.

Disembowel directly benefits the person actually using it.

Hq X ether and shroud, you always save he x ether with shroud to gain a huge mp boost, it always has brought me to 60% or more from 5%-10%

X ether and shroud and atherflow and energy drain still count as mp. I'm asking when you ran out.

What makes you even say that when I'm over 20% of dps in endgame raids, sometimes I wonder if people in the forums see the bigger picture, all content has been designed with no bards in the setup in mind. If you so desperately need a song that you call bards who don't sing bad, then just You're just a bad player period

Keep track of your enmity, keep track of your surroundings, keep track of the boss attack order, keep track of what % the boss is at to know when a phase is about to change, keep track of your dots to make sure they don't fall off, keep track of your cds to make sure you're never wasting them

Sounds like the same stuff a healer has to do and you know, keep everyone alive

I never have ran Into a situation when I didn't have shroud with x ether up when low on mp, as a healer I managed my mp and healed as efficient and as conservative as possible while letting sch be able to dps

What, your logic is different and completely different than mine, I'm basing this off the label sqaure enix gave each job accordingly. Healers heal (green icon) dps do damage (red icon) and tanks keep aggro/mitigate (blue icon) bard is a dps (red icon) so they can focus on dps if they want

Lack of the proper learning curve would create a bunch of players who have no idea on how to play their own job. You can check out blizzard's lol instant lvl 90 cash grab and it's social impact and bad influence on the players. Is it just bard?

Oh now I know your lieing. I'm sorry but nobody is 100% perfect (yes that is exactly what you are implying.) You keep implying with everyone of your posts that it's always someone else's fault. That you can do no wrong. The point of this thread is for bards to sing when they are needed to sing. Not blame someone else for their own inaction. Take the hint.
