    You do realise that playing songs lowers your DPS, right? That might be a factor.

    Playing Mage's Ballad and Army's Paeon will lower DPS. Foe's Requiem has no such detriment so if you're not playing Foe with at least 1 caster in group then you are a terrble Bard.
