The mats should be in chests not from bosses but ones you pick up along the way to a boss. Having the last boss of a dungeon drop filtered water is just dumb.

They should force some rare mats to be placed on bosses only so people can cry even more.

I was fortunate enough to get the entire Protector set and gather a couple of pieces of gear for my Monk...
..granted both sets I currently wear are leaps and bounds better, but the idea of having them for glamour purposes if I want is nice. But I have to say, the whole item drops in the boss chests is a bit annoying. Especially in a loot driven game like this is supposed to be. I like the idea, but as some mentioned, put it in places other than the boss tables.

I still see plenty of DL gear drop, so I don't see what the complaint is. Besides, it's not like the gear is going to be used for anything more than a brief stepping stone on your way to mythology gear.
Considering there's no cap on myth, those who are 'hardcore' enough to grind away their atma books aren't going to care much about the bump in the road that is having to spend on other jobs. Those who aren't will just happily pick up the odd DL piece here and there as necessary.
If you want my honest opinion, their mistake wasn't adding crafting materials to dungeons... it was adding Darklight. Considering it used to be freely purchasable, and now isn't (a bone-headed move to say the least), it's basically removed most of the incentive to try for a full set. By the time you've run enough dungeons you probably have a full myth set anyway which makes it utterly redundant.

I still haven't got even the chance to roll pilgrim robe ..and i do DR and speedrun every day. Craft things should go wherever but inside bosses' treasure chests.

Three times in a row in DR Expert all three bosses dropped mats, and no good mats either, just water, blood and whetstones. This need's to stop!
If you can buy these mats with GC seals then why have them be boss drops anyway? You can always trade in gear for seals.
Greetings Dungeon Masters,
In case you missed this answer from the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE (don’t worry, the full Q&A is coming soon!), we wanted to let you know that Yoshida said that he’s aware of the desire to see more gear dropping in dungeons and is planning on talking with the team about adjusting this!

The amount of cooking sherry and voidsent blood that I've gotten from these dungeons (from final bosses) is just ludicrous. Let's hope that something is actually done.
