    The problem is, LALAFEL ARE DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE CHILDREN. Also, I'm a huge anime fan, so your implication that I don't understand because I'm not is off. Hell, it's very possible that I've been watching anime longer than you've known it existed. The point is that the Japanese (and some other Asian cultures) come veeeerrry close to pedophilia sometimes in their obsession with youth. I've seen some manga, for instance, that would get the authors thrown in jail for child pornography if they were American and tried to write it and sell it here, and one must only look at the prevalence of girl bands and gravure idols to see more examples of this obsession with sexualizing youth.

    I'm sorry that you're so obsessed with Japanese culture that you've gotten sucked into this and think it's 'kawaii.'
