Hey everyone!

I'm looking to compile all chocobo-related information, and a large part of that is the gardening aspect of it. There's been a lot of mixed results with intercrossing, and we know for a fact that some intercross combinations can yield multiple seed types (Krakka Root + Mirror Apple can be either Curiel Root Seeds or Sun Lemon Seeds for example). As such, I'd like to figure out what the percentage yields are for each combination, and I need everyone's help to do so!

I have created a simple form that I'd like people to fill out after every time they try a "Chocobo food + Something" intercross. Please note that it is VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO ONLY SUBMIT A CROSS IF IT USED GRADE 3 THANALAN TOPSOIL!! Any other results will skew the percentages:

Please help us document this information for everyone to use! And please spread this information around, I'd like as many results as I can get so we get accurate numbers!

EDIT: Also, please submit data for every attempt at the intercross, not just the successful crosses! if we don't track every attempt, the numbers will get skewed and we wont get accurate percentages.

Firstly, I have almost fully grown Broombush


so I placed the Sylkis as in the picture hoping to get Thav. seed


Broombush grew up so I collected them and place new BB


Unexpectedly, I got two Shroud Tea seed from bed 1 and bed 3, and got Thav seed from bed 7 and bed 9



My question: How I got two Shroud Tea Seeds from bed 1 and bed 3? should not it be Thav seed? I'm pretty sure that I used only Grade 3 Thanalan Topsoils because I have only this kind of soil in my bag.

Because the crossbreeds for Chobo Food and new Minions are not 100% / guaranteed and some crosses can produce multiply results.

Just confirming Garlean Garlic x Mandrake (and the reverse), since the compilation post had a note by it.

Hey, I want to get my hands on that minion's seeds, can you please tell me what the combo was?

Was it this:

Garlic Cloves > Mandrake > Garlic Cloves

Or how did you place them?

I follow the spreadsheet to get Tomato King with Dzealma Tomato > Mandrake > Mandrake but get Garlic Jester instead. Just an update for people who are doing the minion crossbread

• How exactly does it work? Does eating one allow your chocobo to go past the current level cap and gain XP normally or is it the only food that gives XP once it's capped?
• How many onions are produced per plant?

Just harvested the one I planted and yield is 1, as expected. I'll get back to you on how it's used because it isn't my onion.
