Harassment in Frontline

I know it shouldn't bother me, but when MNKs shoulder tackle me off guard while on my mount, with some of my cooldowns unavailable, without Ifrit out even, then manage to kill me and laugh and dance on my body, it strikes a nerve lol. (Holy run on sentence batman). Cuz I know damn well no MNK could ever kill my SMN in a proper 1v1. It's like.... Wtf are you laughing at?? Your insanely good luck? Or my bad luck?

I love it when any class/person has the audacity to "attempt" to kill me on my SCH (Focus Heal Fairy Macro on myself) While I hit that beautiful cleric stance; Ruin II/Energy Drainx3- kills anybody should watch them run when they think they have what it takes to kill a SCH. I give them a promissory dance after it's all said and done.

I haveto admit that I will do emotes (usually just /pose) on the following conditions:

1. After I killed a Maruader because I am unable to see why people beleives Maruader is better than Warrior in the Frontline.

2. Killed a healer after limit break <--- Sorry, this is a must

3. Killed a BLM or SMN because it is a challenge.

I was on my MNK yesterday when suddenly I saw a distracted SMN in frontline. I immediately proceeded to LB him and spammed /dance, ahah. I bet that got it really good!

All this talk of burning limit breaks to kill someone who upset you. You realize using an LB for revenge instead of helping to win/hold flags is as good as missing with it yes? Our healers live to fight and hold flags another day, and I'll re-spawn to /happy on another corpse.

Oh, I am usually harass Malestorm and immortal flame as monk, and that is the time I use limit break. It is actually benefit twin adders

The only harassment I get while in Frontlines is a bunch of people laughing and shouting at me for trying to teach people how to play. I drop information that is all very helpful and informative, but no matter how helpful it is they always ignore it and just lash out. These players always desire to vote-kick me too, but all I do is provide information that will help the team to victory.

For me, I am not finding it as offensive nor harassment. I find it normal as players tend to test their skills fighting against other players, SPECIALLY if they can beat the cr@p out of you by killing alone. If you dont want other players to do the same to you then change to a class that you can kill a monk then laugh, dance and jump over to his/her dead characters (LOL), You can be a Monk, DRG or Warrior if you want. Or, get your party raid a post.

The nature of frontlines prevents a lot of one-on-one harassment because most of the time you are fighting large scale battles, but there are occasions where you can get 'griefed' (aka, people jump and dance on your body), and I would do your best not to let it get to you. There's nothing you can do if someone LBs you and honestly... I would feel honored if someone wasted an entire LB just to kill me. =P At least, that's how I felt when a DRG did it to me (when I was a SMN) a few hours ago. I totally had him dead to rights because I had equanimity but he killed me with his LB... haha. I would personally save LBs for gamechanging situations (like a much-needed base) or securing PvE kills in mid.

As far as PvP is concerned, griefing in this game doesn't occur NEARLY as often as other games. I've been doing frontlines quite a bit lately and I haven't seen TOO many situations in which players truly grief another. There was one time that I know I really annoyed another player, but it wasn't really griefing. A paladin was alone protecting a base and I waited until he ran out of the circle and then bound him there (swiftcast+tridisaster) and then stood on the flag while it slowly changed, doting him up and killing him off. I felt kind of bad but... 'outsmarting' people is the nature of the game. And... 1v1 is really unbalanced (hence why they won't add dueling to the game). I think SE made a good call when they decided to label people by their classes but didn't allow you to communicate or even emote with opposite teams. I suppose you can SEE what they emote, but you won't notice the text.
