Since whatever SE does for FFXIV someone complains about it becoming "easy" or that "It shouldn't be this way."
For example, there's complaints about Raise being Rank 14 and that it's making it easier, ok cool - Let's complain that Stoneskin should be rank 50 only and that Cure and Sacrifice should be Rank 48 only after you complete 20 quests and kill 10 bosses.
Next we have this addition:
It's not necessarily meant to prevent death warps as they would have put the recast on an hour or more to do so, but this seems like a bad idea given the complaints about this.Return
Alongside the above-mentioned reduction in the rank at which Raise is learned, the following adjustments will be made to Return in order to improve its usability as a mode of transport.
Anima consumption will be reduced to zero.
A recast time of 15 minutes will be imposed.
* The above recast time is not imposed on players who are KO'd.
Next up is the hot topic of instance dungeons and never you mind the overly critical people having aneurisms over Yoshida using the term raid and instance "incorrectly" -- What do people want done with this? Since it seems like pretty much everything SE is doing to try to fix this game, people continue to complain about the tiniest of details that will just make the game worse in the end.
Do you want the game a walk in the park and everything handed to you?
Do you want the game challenging and rewarding?
Do you want the game a blatant clone of WoW like Rift is only with Final Fantasy Textures?
Do you want a clone of Tera where precision will be off unless you're on localized servers?
It seems like people don't know what they want, which is why I'm seriously curious as to what would be the FFXIV "for you", since Square's vision seems to conflict with everyone else's wants.
