Hunts were a terrible/irresponsible idea

These are roaming hunting marks. There is no hunting bill for a vast majority of the hunting marks. To find them, you're expected to roam the world in search of these rare monsters. Somewhere in every area, a specially named monster will randomly spawn based on a respawn timer. B-ranked monsters spawn roughly every hour and can be solo'd. A-ranked monsters are on about a 4-hour timer and are supposed to require a small group. S-ranked monsters are huge and are intended to require several groups of players and they are thought to spawn only once every 24 hours (and require special conditions to trigger their spawn).

Am I missing something or are the rewards for Allied Seals pretty lame? If i remember correctly it's just myth gear isn't it? I haven't bothered even trying the hunt yet so i'm probably wrong but it doesn't seem worth all the hassle.

Lag? What lag? What kind of a rig are you running?

Used to be on PS3 and the lagfest was off and on there. I'm now plowing through everything with a PS4. Haven't had any problems since.

The DoW/DoM gear is the same gear available with Myth Tomes. However there is the new GC gear and weapons, as well as the Other tab that has Alexandrites, and items needed for Sands of Time. It's another way of obtaining things we can use.

The reward for Allied Seals is Sands of Time, Oil of Time, and Alexandrite.

Though, what most people are going crazy for are the Sands of Time. The ONLY other way to get Sands of Time currently is to clear Turn 8 and Turn 9. And even if you're clearing T8/T9 regularly every week, you're still gonna have to wait your turn to get your sand.

Did my first hunting party today; it's not very rpg-ish but very MMO-ish.

We had three different fcs in our party and usually someone will do a global shout and we waited about five minutes and then we buried the mark. No one was fighting or complaining and everybody was getting some kinda tomes or seals way faster than a dungeon run.

You could go do some farming or hunting or xping or whatever you want or even look for marks and go teleport for easy loot. Pretty fun actually!

Oh yeah and zero lag with ps4...

And this is all due to people not waiting for others to arrive and just pulling and killing the mob without regard for others that are on the way.

These things take hours to respawn.

From personal experience I can safely say it's a very frustrating thing to hear about a NM's location, teleport there, and then realize that the monster is dead before you have even reached half the way to it. That is the main issue here, in all honesty and is the main occurance.

As I stated before, unless you are one of the one's to discover a NM's location, it is unlikely that you will get credit for a kill. Unless of course it's the rare occurrence that people wait for others before trouncing upon the NM.

It's pretty frustrating to find that NM and watch with horror as rather than your guildmates arriving dozens of people from a link shell probably using a radar app flood in to reduce your contribution to nil.

Either you don't care/know about reducing people's contribution or you're a class that can get high contribution regardless of how many people are nuking it, either way you're still being ignorant of the fact that this content is meant to be competitive, it's not a FATE and people need to stop treating it like that. I understand why people do but still, it's irritating to see people flood in to reduce my contribution and treat ME like the bad guy for wanting to get more than 2 seals.
