Already seen someone with an augmented chest piece today! It was glowing just like that. Looked pretty cool.

Yeah I have made a couple and sold them to players on my server. They look awesome when equipped, but they cost a LOT to make. You have to make the REGULAR ilvl 90 piece, and then use it with MORE materials to make it augmented. It requires new desynth items from ilvl 70 items as well. Its expensive to make, but they look amazing!

This is quite honestly the dumbest crafting recipe I have ever seen. You're spending 3 times the cost of the base item to make the same item, with a risk of losing everything, with a glow effect.

Yep, no stat changes. In balmung, you need to fork over 1-2 million gil worth of mats + the actual base item and the tip to the crafter just for a glow.

By the way: The armor glow can vanish after a death in instances, least while glamoured anyway. It seems to be client side, so others may still see it.

I don't even think it looks cool now. I thought it looks awful and I can't believe that something like this was given the green light. I hate to complain about things but this just looks terrible. Where is the glow even coming from? It's kinda just there.

Please. Pretty please. Get rid of these augmented armors. They are an eyesore and I loathe the day I come across someone actually wearing one of these.
