I keep avoiding Aoe(s) from Boss(es) but still get hit.

I have got fibre and my ping is 15ms.

This has happened to me multiple times in different occasions in different times and days where I was out of sight aka not inside the shape of the enemy's Aoe but I still get damage and/or dots on me.

Basically I am talking about the last second escape and somehow this issue pinpoints to me as there is this "lag-input" from the game and from my side I need to be 1 second faster so that lag input does not effect me. What that means is that I will not be able to avoid anything the last second due to that.

Anyone else has noticed this?

OP, yes. we've all noticed it. You're brand new, it didn't just show up when you started.

There is a DEV post around here somewhere from about a year ago now about the issues of AOEs and moving out of the way. They explained the slight delay all MMOs have and that it's been addressed.

You'll also find that in instanced fights and areas, this "lag" is actually a lot less and you can dodge things much easier.

Fun fact: Blaming the game because you refuse to dodge is not the way to go.

Not so much refusing to dodge. There are times people legitimately have lag. I have lag from time to time.
sometime even fios has lag. Even when I do have lag. I don't come here to rage about it because I understand what causes my lag.

In this game you cannot dodge reactively.

Yes you can - You can even evade and run back into AoE's and not get hit, this depends purely on your connection though.

Fortunately most notorious battles are scripted so once you learn or get a hint of the rotation you can act before stuff happens.

This helps when 3rd parties are having issues, for example Level3.net.

I don't think that phrase means what you think it means. Not having a stable internet connection is not bad game design, that's on you, not SE's fault.

Server to Client reaction and vice versa will always be a problem. Its like having a wireless keyboard that delays because miscommunication with its adapter in the computer. Just live with it. SE has done a great job since Release to improve this on their end. Now its a problem that you take up with you ISP.
