Y'know I never speak up in these threads, but everyone seems to forget a major reason to keep them small and a little boring right now.

Room for expansion.

This' a great, valid point & I agree with you. However, I still think the base models could still stand to be slightly more detailed/improved.

I agree with the OP. It doesn't have to be an exact replica, and the size right now is okay to me, but the egi models do need to be improved with more detail.

Carbuncle and Ifrit are looking great but... No offense to the designers, but Garuda and Titan egis look like 3-year-old kids' toys... >.<

Even going by the theory that the early primal egis are purposely made to look boring to make room for expansion, I feel that every primal needs to be given respect and that its design should not come off as simplified just because it's the first few the summoners bond with.

One day you might have the ability to have Titan-Egi 'hulk' out and use Rage of the Earth for high, cool-looking AE damage for example. But if you have a big badass titan by your side now, that won't be so special if you do get it.

It's called progression and it can be done.

I think it would be acceptable as level cap went up, and our smn leveled up and became a more adept smn over time they would learn to draw out more power and a more detailed/larger form.

I'd be ok if the size only increased a little, just give them some actual.. Form. Lol. Titan is the only one who looks remotely similar lol. And even that is a long shot. Garuda needs some love more than any of them. And ifrit... Ifrit kinda half there lol

At E3 YoshiP mentioned that the final forms of the zodiac weapons would modify skills slightly (the implication was some kind of new effects or animations unique to that weapon). It would make a great deal of sense for the SMN one to modify the egis appearance...

Fairly, if upgraded appearances do occur, they ought for everyone, at least through means of "average play".

Meaning, if not instantly, at least through an avenue such as reaching the new level-cap or completing a new Job quest for SMN... not something that should remain optional (e.g. Relic).
