/lean to the wall, other version than sitting in the bench.
Only need a flat vertical surface.

yes yes yes /exercise! I also would like to have an exercise emote that does Eorzean Squats or something. As adventurers that the realm depends on, our physical fitness is extremely important!
I'd really like to see a Job specific idle stance.
Summoner/Scholar could read their book and/or interact with their pets (I'd love to have Eos sit on my shoulder like she does in some of the promotional pieces).
Black Mage could play with the Ice/Fire orbs that it has in combat.
Monk could fight the air.
Dragoon could stand with their weapon out in a manner similar to the FFIV Kain cover.
Bard could silently play with their Harp.
etc. etc.

MNK specific emote where you hope around and punch the air. Think Zell from FFVIII

I want to do /squats
Be all like Zack and stuff fdsafds
NPCs are already doing it! XD
I'd suggest another /wave emote that says more "hello" and not so much "hey, over here!" Similar to the /goodbye wave but one that doesn't say goodbye.
Also, something of a combination of /makeface and /taunt. Maybe called /sillyface
/checktail or /groomtail, random idea for the Mi'qote,
/lalapat could pat a Lalafell on the head
/facepalm just needs to happen already, haha.
/riot emote or err... um, or RIOT (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Personally, I'm hoping for a 'silent' modifier, which mutes the sound effect that accompanies most of the emotes, much like 'motion' erases the text.
