Since me and my wife both go, even though she doesn't have an account I will have an extra Code to give out after the event. This doesn't help everyone but at least someone of you I guess.

No, just no. The exclusivity is the whole point of those rewards to fans dedicated enough to attend.
Because every dedicated can buy a ticket and attend the fanfest
There can be up to several reasons for why I can't just simply buy a ticket and travel to UK. Heck, even if I could I might not even be allowed to due to certain circumstances. How is that fair to those of us? I say they should make it a contest reward later (much later if necessary) or sell it at mogstation (for a limited time if necessary).
i think itd be fair to sell on mogstation, cause if i want to go id need a 2nd job to save for hotel, airplane/bus (2-3 day drive missing work/losing pay), ticket for event plus id have to hope that both jobs would let me off for the time needed but thats money lost that i need to pay rent and other things so yeah i may be a dedicated fan but not gonna kill myself to go to this
You should prepare your flame shield.
While i can buy a ticket i can't travel to london, las vegas or tokyo, so it's not fair at all, it better be something stupid and ulgy or SE will have problems, this is not like the dalamud minion, lightning items, or collector edition items.
May I ask what item in Fanfest?
Noone knows, but everyone seems to think they are entitled to get everything which is why this topic exist.
It should stay exclusive to the event as its a cool reward to being there and showing up IN PERSON. It would honestly ruin part (since its just prob 1 item) of the exclusiveness of actually attending the event.
Now if 5 years go by and the event is 25,000+ people strong like Blizzcon, people can freak out and say stuff about digital. There is MANY years of Blizzcon without the digital content AND again, SOE Live is still where you have to give them your character in signup and showup in person just like SE is doing.
There is only a initial 1800 advanced tickets meaning I am guessing they are planning 3,000-5,000.
I was just going to make a post about this. I feel that the ticket price of the $120 is reasonable for this type of event. But I, like many others can't afford the ticket plus travel expenses.
It would be great if SE handled this event like Blizzard does with Blizz-Con. You can always buy the "digital ticket" to Blizz-Con and enjoy most of the big event streamed on line. As well as receive all the digital in game content.
Please give it some thought. If not this year then maybe next years.
They could just as well be held some place you could attend, and others would have difficulty with. Pretty sure there are people who will be going who have made sacrifices in order to do so, fair play to them. You should prepare your flame shield.

I doubt I'll be attending, but I stand by my opinion that whatever they give out should be exclusive to those that are fortunate enough to attend in person. Same goes for the forum contest prizes and Lightning event gear. Exclusive is exclusive, and people want it to stand out.
