Private rooms and being kicked from an FC

There was another thread on this as well, and we never got an answer so I'll move my post over here. Maybe this time they will answer.


If someone has a room with items in it, can they still get kicked from a FC if they are causing problems, or will they have to clear out the room first?

• If they can't be kicked without clearing out the room and they refuse can they be reported and will the GM's actually do something?
• If they can be kicked without clearing out the room what happens to the room and the items?
• If they move to a new FC will they auto get a new room since it's already paid for or will they have to spend another 300k?

Please respond~! I'm just curious because this could change the way leaders accept new players into their FC's.

Agreed, a speedy response to this would be much appreciated as i can very well see players using 300k as a "free pass" so to speak if they really wanted to cause issues.

Honestly the only logical way to handle it is to suspend your room until you join a new FC with a house.

So you get kicked, you lose access to your room.
You join a new FC. They have no house? No room for now. They do? You get your room back.

About room-equipped-fc-jerks, if I get an option to deny FC chat, they can stay in FC as much as they want (better: until I can kick 'em).

I think the rooms are not a good investment for these reasons. Your FC may dissolve, you may be kicked from it, or you may wish to switch to a different FC. Then again, if you contributed gil towards the FC house in the first place, it's the same principle, you can't get that gil back if something happens to the FC. I guess it depends on your confidence and commitment to the FC.

Uh oh..never mix up personal with FC business. The concept to make a personal room dependant from a FC house wasn't the best because not all FC's have one or can afford one. And the problem with remaining able to kick members who misbehave or kick them because they do not come online anmyore is something that needs to be answered. Also what will happen if you switch FC's is a good question. Will you have to spend 300.000 GIL + furniture again or will the personal room move with you when you enter a new FC? What happens if the FC disbands because the Leader decides to?

I like the Game but sometimes I do not get SE's solutions. Why tie something personal to a FC? Why tie choccobo breeding to Gardening and force people into Gardening? I think it us uber boring but when I wanna push my Choccobo beyond Level 10, I have to dive into it - or spend moar GIL on the market board. AND to hope our FC garden will produce enough that we can all feed our choccobos. All because of the combinations they made.

No FC house, no personal room. No FC house, no choccobo training. No garden, no choccobo raise. YUCK!

Just give me MY garden, MY stable and MY room and leave the FC out of it! Personal is personal and not FC business.

Devs please respond to this thread , as FC leader i want to know this stuff too . There already was once a situation when dude joined FC and being "Trash" , so i removed him . But what now if player got room and start "jerking" we can't kick him ???????????????????????

Maybe take a bit of time to get to know these people before inviting them?
