Last night I was doing my weekly routine of joining up pf group for coil 6-8. I joined one that stated that require prior win, np, I beat 6-8 in pug many times before. Party fill up, we decided on the mark move/super slug method, we went in and the melee who keep getting eaten/ cause other people getting eaten. After few more try, party leader decided to kick the person who keep getting eaten, who obviously never have the win before.
After that, we setup pf again and we got another melee that join up, we ask if eh clear before he said yeah. We went in again, things went relatively smoothly and we got to the point where we need to feed the second honey glaze and monk have it. He just stand there like not knowing he need to get eaten. Wipe of course but we see that as a mistake and try again. We got there again and we feed the honey; however, the monk, the only melee dps in the group doesn't lb the super slug and we wipe again.
At this point, it is clear the new monk we got never clear before and probably never seen the final phrase before. Leader kick again we we back to pf. Monk then somehow send me a tell saying he doesn't know that to do since he always wipe at the point where bee need to be burned and no idea what does feeding the honey mean.
I mean, gosh, if the pf saying be experienced and need prior win experience, please do so. There are still plenty of learning group for t6-8 everyday of the week. Before I got my win I am always honest with my experience. I recall my first t8 win I said to the leader, never win before, but seen allagan field. The leader say ok and I join the group and after getting some pointer from them we won at the end. Is it so hard to be honest about what you know to do? The monk i mention was not bad, but if he had mention he never won before we might have explain what he need to do and win instead of kicking him.
