How do you get a class/job to 50 in just 2 days? I'm struggling because I want to lvl WHM and PGL and that info would be awesome to have, or it's just with FATE grinding?

No job, No social life (outside of the game), willing to either play sitting on the toilet or wear diapers, have stockpiles of instant food and water + water cooker in your room, have tons of low level quests open to get exp boost, do each and every haste once for exp boost, do everything from challenge log that gives DoW DoM exp, have DoH so you can make your own HQ gear and repair it to safe gil, do dungeons and fates, have one Dow or DoM on 50, have a rested bonus from staying 30+ days in town so you can level 1-43 with a fixed 100% exp bonus. Heat of the Battle from FC, food for 3% exp buff

source? I did it, 2 levels per dungeon? only if i was like 100 exp away from level up 1 and got massive exp with bonus from a first time runner. 140k exp for tanking iffrit? yay .. how many level usp did i get? 1

Already going to start having to buy non BiS slots for classes. (war, monk, smn, blm, and sch)

Make sure your completing as many challenge logs as you can on the character. Do all your guildhests once. Do your hunt logs.

The monk will take longer due to crappy queue times but the WHM... You should get near instant queues and be getting a couple levels an hour except during the slow levels (mid 30s the dungeons are few and far between and kinda suck for exp)

The ONLY way it is possible to have 105+ as a fresh 50 after a couple of days is to have another class at 50 that has set up the gear for you weeks in advance. And even then if that gear-set was i90+ from the get go, gaining that other 10+ ilvl will take at least a week if you don't have the soldiery already saved up to dump on gear.

Or you can play several roles and master all the classes.

While people typically only have one "main" class for raiding, some groups are flexible and they don't always go as the same roles. There are many people with equally high item levels on their jobs and have mastered how to play them.
