I refuse to believe the issue with Healer gear drops is "just RNG", Square.

I've had every BIS drop for my SCH in Coil 2 besides the weapon for 2 weeks now. It's RNG.

EDIT: Reading your post again, it stretches credulity that you've never seen a healer piece drop in repeatable content.

You know there's a really weird and probably effective way when it comes to dealing with rng. It's more of a mental thing but here it goes:
The more you want something, the less likely you'll get it. The more you care less about something the more likely you'll get it.

Stop thinking about the drops and just play basically it will come eventually.

This my experience 100%, no matter how silly it seems. Tanking first coil I wanted to get geared up so bad and we saw maybe 2 or 3 tank drops. Now in second coil with a new static I really like and in charge of, I want us to progress and we could use dps gear for t9. I'll be da*ned if we dont get 2 pieces of tank gear a week, and 2 pieces of healer at least. Out of four weeks in this static, 1/3 of it has been healer, 1/3 has been tank, and the remaining split between melee and caster dps. Mostly caster, our summoner is like i105 now lol.

In my raid group we always get at least one healer drop every T6 kill. Our tanks were QQing because gear for them rarely drops in that turn. Like someone said, RNG is RNG. It's sucks but it's part of the game.

I doesn't have to be such a large part of the game. They could make Tank/Healer/DPS tokens to hand in for gear which would cut down on this crap a lot. It's sill random, but at least there's a much lower chance you'll get screwed because there are fewer outcomes.

Not to make you feel bad OP but I have healer Coil gear, namely the Allagan Rope Belt of Healing, that I accidentally greeded on because I thought it was the Casting belt, even though I have no intention of ever playing a healer role. I'd moogle mail it to you if I could! :P

And yes, it really really is just random.
