Don't ever do something like the Atma quest, again. You'll do more harm than good to this game. And this comes from someone who did his Novus one week ago and is attempting his second Animus. Probably over a thousand hours invested in this game. I enjoyed every part of it. Main scenario, dungeons, primals, raids, the story, all sorts of grind, EVERYTHING...except the Atma quest. Let me put it this way, would you find fair to tell your players that in order to make it to the next upgrade of their relics they have to travel 20000 KMs with their chocobos? Because killing level 3 flans with heavy shots/ruins for the next 100 hours is NOT different from that. I don't mind grinding, at all, I could spend another thousand hours playing this game. But playing this game isn't for instance using teleport 1000 times to get a piece of armor.

I enjoyed the Atma grind far more than the process of grinding myth for Animus/Novus, but you won't find me complaining about it except in response to other complaints.

Different strokes for different folks. I've obtained 3 full sets of Atma now.

I already have my Animus sword and shield, plus Atma fists. Got a full set of atmas (3rd) sitting in my inventory, with 6/12 on the fourth set.

Deal with it. We've all had to. If you really want it that much, do it. Stop complaining and just do it.

If you want it then work for it. I don't see how complaining will do anything. The quests will only be more and more time consuming to make up for not doing difficult content. The effort needs to match the rewards

Honestly, I'm not seeing how it's useless. I see people with Allagan/EX weapons that have T6-9 clears, they didn't need atma weapons to clear them. They didn't need atma weapons to clear anything. Why is it so hard to consider that atma weapons aren't NEEDED for all content?
