Don't ever do something like the Atma quest, again. You'll do more harm than good to this game. And this comes from someone who did his Novus one week ago and is attempting his second Animus. Probably over a thousand hours invested in this game. I enjoyed every part of it. Main scenario, dungeons, primals, raids, the story, all sorts of grind, EVERYTHING...except the Atma quest. Let me put it this way, would you find fair to tell your players that in order to make it to the next upgrade of their relics they have to travel 20000 KMs with their chocobos? Because killing level 3 flans with heavy shots/ruins for the next 100 hours is NOT different from that. I don't mind grinding, at all, I could spend another thousand hours playing this game. But playing this game isn't for instance using teleport 1000 times to get a piece of armor.

If that's the way the devs of the game choose to do it, then yes. I don't know about you, but I'd take the current means than rely on Atma to drop from raids with the equal chance that Levi mirrors have. Let's see you folks QQ moar on that.

So basically, you've ignored the bolt part and gave the generic answer you give to every atma thread. I really hope SE's mentality is not on line with the answers I'm getting here, because one more thing like the Atma quest in a future patch and as much as I love this game I'm out. Grinding myths? It's fun. Primals? Fun. Some sort of quest? More or less fun. Dungeons? Fun. Travelling 20000 kms with your chocobo? We have a problem here.

Honestly, I'm not seeing how it's useless. I see people with Allagan/EX weapons that have T6-9 clears, they didn't need atma weapons to clear them. They didn't need atma weapons to clear anything. Why is it so hard to consider that atma weapons aren't NEEDED for all content?
