Porting should stay but i think paying for it from a Npc is better. just so we can get rid of the influx of gil in the game. i have 20 mil SE i need something to spend it on....

Looking at the future, the game should pivot itself on not only content but enjoyable content that gamers would enjoy replaying. Relying entirely "new" content especially in MMOs is more of the same just a new skin. This is fine but there should be gameplay mechanics that are dynamic enough to make each experience different and enjoyable so that gamers are willing to part take of these quests, leves (whatever you want to call) more than just once. So that whether you "finish" the game or not you are still interested in playing because its simply fun. It seems as though many are forgetting the reason we play games. Its for fun. Well thats the reason I play....... maybe different for others, hopefully others don't play for displeasure.well im only rank 43 because everyone quit and I got bored, i'm not really talking about the way the game stands right now, im talking more the future of the game. I personally am more of a casual player myself because I'm lazy and want to sit in town and talk with people more then i actually want to run back and forth completing the entire game (or doing gawd awful leves). In the 9 years I played FFXI i only got to like level 73 whm partly because i didnt have the time to dedicate like everyone else who seemed to be on 24 hours but I also like to explore and just socialize. All my friends where always 10 steps ahead of me. The majority of people always have and will finish the content before me. Look at all the people that rush to 50 ASAP and then just run around basically saying "look at me im super cool and rank 50 mwa hahahaha", Happens all the time.
BTW i just wanted to mention i think it was rinsui or renshi that mentioned when i hit 300 posts my heart will explode, i think it did, and now i'm dead.
well shit, the levels and quest we have right now aren't going to keep anybody around, they are awful, the main story line is way to spread out, that trash needs to be fixed ASAP. I think the only thing that is keeping anyone around right now is 1. its an FF title and or 2. their friends are still playing. I personally think questing for anima would be fun and make sense, but i guess that's just me.Looking at the future, the game should pivot itself on not only content but enjoyable content that gamers would enjoy replaying. Well its probably just me but questing for Anima seems counter productive. I prefer questing for something a bit more tangible.well shit, the levels and quest we have right now aren't going to keep anybody around, they are awful, the main story line is way to spread out, that trash needs to be fixed ASAP. Not to go off topic but.. I feel even tho there are rank req for the missions XI felt the same way they had rank req but you just didn't notice them...Wanna fight shadowlord get to level 60! Alot of games are guilty of this making the invisible level caps so it did not bother me much.the main story line is way to spread out

All they have to do is call it a secret magic that lets you move about the world in seconds but you must quest to learn such a magic, bam, I already created some of the text for the quest! Then all the PS3 players who start playing would think.. that actually sounds cool, im bored of walking back and forth i'm going to do this quest! and they could add in NPCs to teleport you for people who dont want to quest for it at all, its just gonna cost you some gil. they could do all this AND give incentive to walk, all of it is just more things to keep me occupied in my opinion. THEN i could quest for anima and use it when i want and also still have incentive to walk.. when i want! Now I've got two more things to do in game then i have now!!!!!!!!!! just an idea, i think anima could be more creative with more story behind it.
Just give me something to do so i don't have to post on this stupid forum anymore.

it makes sense to have them but i just dont feel the same way about the missions in FFXI as i do about them in this game, but it could also be because I had tons more too do instea dof the same stupid ass leve with a bogus 1 paragraph story. why are the people offering the leves lives in constant turmoil anyways? jeeze. Not to go off topic but.. I think it would be really dumb to take any features away. Easy way around the problem as a player is don't use it if you don't want to and from a designer viewpoint make it simple as you can only get a Chocobo from main cities and ports maybe unless those use the choco coaches. They are making leves focus for solo play so big groups won't be porting to and from camps so much in the near future. Plus I am sure if you have to travel to the dungeon on feet it will be quicker to grab a bird and take shortcuts near town to get to point B from point A without having to port to point C. I am sure they will even it out to make it fair and make it where other forms of travel aren't obsolete.
Cause that's what they pay adventure's to do. Solve their problems!why are the people offering the leves lives in constant turmoil anyways? jeeze.
