Honestly as soon as I saw the glow I knew I would see a thread but your post came off as extremely selfish.

Could a community rep ask the design lead if he would consider using this effect less

"it's over used" again, completely subjective. Your opinion =/= fact.

I will point this out again, this gear is crafted, it's not top of the line. You argue that you don't want to have to glamour your armor just to make it visually appealing to you but since it's crafted and not top of the line you would have to glamour your armor to this to even see the glow effect on yourself.

I will point this out again, this gear is crafted, it's not top of the line. You argue that you don't want to have to glamour your armor just to make it visually appealing to you but since it's crafted and not top of the line you would have to glamour your armor to this to even see the glow effect on yourself.

I didn't know upgraded Soldiery, Primal and Relic weapons were crafted. Man, here I was running dungeons to get that stuff. /sarcasm
And I never stated my opinion as fact either, this forum is quite literally just a bunch of opinions so making the argument "that's just your opinion" quite literally means nothing. But if you want to get factual, there are more glowing weapons than non-glowing weapons for end game use and that trend is set to continue with 2.3 and as a paying customer I want more options than having everything glow and I'm not going to use two unidentified tombstones and 2600 Soldiery for one weapon so I can have it not glow.

I think the glow looks awesome. I kinda wished it would still glow even after I holster my wep, but again as someone else said this is all based on looks. OP i think it would be a better option for them to just have a options in the character config menu to turn glows off. For the people who don't like the glow.

I made a thread about that very thing a while back. It was ignored by the reps/devs/community.

Trying an normal aproach then.

You're asking to remove an effect that pleases the mass, not gonna happen.
You don't like the effect on your weapon, you can glamour it out with a normal relic and or atma relic.
The glow on other peoples weapon disturbs you? Okay it's understandable that some things aren't going to please everyone.

But instead of asking the devs to remove the effect why don't you ask for a "weapon effect toggle" ?
Like that you could turn it off and other leave it on, both would be pleased.

Ask for that instead of a total removal of a much popular glow
