The same was said from CT1 and yet it is one of the most used dungeons out there...
---
The spiritbond gear problem is not CT fault, its because stupid design of novus upgrades...
Even when not doing novus questline everyone try to get materia to sell it very high!

Or if you really want the sands you can actually do coil....lol
CT will be for glamour, earn your gear please.
Sign up... run with the alliance,... swap items unnoticed while everyon else is distracted..
it annoys me too, every second expert roulette i get someone who bonds, last time we hat da PLD with 3000 Life in new Amdapor....
Never a mind was changed on an internet board, no matter how good your arguments are...
Soldiery gear for smn/blm lacks in accuracy. Also, I personally dislike its design (tail boner I'm looking at you). As much as I would like to gear an alt job with CT2 gear, I'll probably use it to gear my main if it either looks better than soldiery gear, or has better accuracy.
I just want to see what the gear looks like. Unidentified tomestones, sands and oils are really just gonna be a bonus for me.
Oh, and the jump platform boss.
Even if there is no real incentive for me to do it, I will still do it. Firstly, for fun. Secondly, for the experience. I'm looking forward to new bosses and such. Be nice to see what the gear looks like too, might be worth getting for glamour if nothing else.
~Quit moping, get hoping~
I'm sure it'll be good for some laughs at the very least.
Uh, well I would imagine that CT isn't exactly designed for players who have full Soldiery gear with an Animus weapon.....
Ignoring my 2 peices of high allagan my summoner and black mage, both had enough accuracy for t9 using soldiery gear, food, and i90 crafted gloves(which over melded are stronger then i100 weathered gloves, and stronger then anything CT2 could drop).
They want to keep mirrors, animus, and ramuh weapons super rare. So rare that levi isn't even mathamticly worth farming a mirror for when compared to animus. They say they want i100 weapons hard to get but then do this? yet don't adjust mirror or atma drop rate... it just defy all common logic. So now they add in a free i100 weapon to all the players, and now they can't add sands of time into CT without giving every player a free i110 weapon in every 2-3 weeks. It will be a miracle if we ever see sands or oils in CT now, and like I said if we do it will greatly throw off weapon balance in the game.
It's a high end, end game raid to release it after binding coil (when they have had multiple chances to fix it) as a completely lesser raid is really strange and backward design that players aren't use to. The CT raid was original to help players who can't do coil yet be able to get the gear needed to do it. The problem is they already can, from soldiery and i90 crafted/melded, they can also get i100 weapons in 3 different ways come this patch(4 counting this). We don't even need Ramuh weapons they are a pure vanity and collectors item and have no use being added to the game at all. mean while while we have 4 i100 weapons(really se 4) we only have one set and still will only have 1 set of i100 accessories(though 2 sets of gear now). In fact we will see lots of people running around with i110 weapons before i110 gear(which I guess is like the first coil). It will be high used at first so everyone can get that 1 piece(at most 2) that is "better" then soldiery, but after a month ques will go up, trolls will be everywhere, and players will stop because it's one piece of gear(maybe 2) that will be useful for the main. Adding the weapons instead of sands/oils is pointless, and really a huge slap to players. It would be nice if something useful dropped out of CT that would actually help players beat the new coil but. that won't be happening CT is now just CT and is not meant to help you progress, if we as players can accept that then we can enjoy it. I think players just wan't to hear from the dev team exactly what they want CT to be now that it is no longer what it was.
