Report them and they will be punished for it. It's considered an abuse of the votekick system and is totally against the rules.

How do I do that though? When people vote I don't know who participated and who agreed for that to happen...I only saw the "you have been dismissed" message.

SE already gave their blessing to kick players out for watching cutscenes.Although we understand the impact that is caused after being removed from a duty finder group, please be aware that Game Masters will be unable to take action if a group member has been removed due to a player dispute, or if their game style differs (i.e. skipping in-game cutscenes, disagreement on using specific boss encounter tactics etc).
To avoid such incidents in the future, we would advise to speak with either the group leader or fellow party members when joining a new group to discuss any specific party restrictions that need to be addressed (i.e. any loot priorities, allowing group members to watch cutscenes etc).

Wow... that sucks. ; ;
I guess all we can hope is that SE will add "Please use the PF to indicate you want to watch cut scenes in this dungeon or ask your friends and Free Company to go with you" instead of "Use the DF to enter this dungeon." :/

Pretty much this. The whole situation isn't fair for new players, honestly but there isn't much that can be done to change peoples' minds. Kicking people for enjoying the game is straight up abuse, though.
Also, this. There's a couple sides to the whole thing, one being that a fair majority of people are doing these 2 dungeons as part of a daily routine, so... they aren't in the mood to stand around and wait. New players pay for this attitude more than they should which I see as unfair, but it's also unfair to expect a group of vets to cater to you. 9/10 times I'll side with the new player though, unless they are real...pieces of work.
Speaking of "pieces of work"...
Not that I care either way, I just thought I'd repost SE's stance that they have given on this subject, as it was posted earlier in this thread. Just so that people thinking their reports to gms will actually do anything, instead will realize it will go on deaf ears.

Fair enough. I withdraw that statement, regardless of fairness.Not that I care either way, I just thought I'd repost SE's stance that they have given on this subject, as it was posted earlier in this thread.
