Rank 10 Chocobo Barding

When you respec, you won't lose your rank to 0. You have worked hard to get your companion to Rank 10. It will just reset the SP (Skill Points)

And yes you might be correct with breeding. But still, every chocobo rank 10 on a single line will unlock their barding, unique to them. You will not be able to use the barding of a black chocobo that you made attacker on your first chocobo that you decided to make a Healer. (If it was, would be awesome ^^ )

If you followed the trend, we are Speculating here Tiggy, as nothing been said so far.

I just used my common sense like the character skill points reset for one job, for those who want to be all mind for SCH, and then change to full int for SMN.

When you get some XP through experience about how to deal with a certain monster, that experience won't go away.

You plainly didn't word it as if speculation. It looked to me like you were stating a known fact. You then went on to clearly conjecture about some breeding stuff, and only then saying "we will see." Based on your wording it's not exactly a stretch to think you were stating a fact then conjecturing for the rest of the post. Which is why I asked if you had a source.

Stop taking everything so negative. (Seriously? Bringing up other threads as some sort of justification for yourself?) You made a statement. I was simply curious where you heard it since you worded it so clearly like a factual statement about something I hadn't yet read. Only after your response clarified was it at all obvious that it was conjecture. If you want people to know what you really mean then use your words to more clearly state it. Getting all bent out of shape about it after the fact isn't helping when anyone can read what you said and see how I thought you were stating a fact simply based on the way it was worded.

When people make factual sounding statements those people should expect someone to come asking about that information's validity. Look at your own words, how you worded it, and ask yourself if it's really that surprising someone read it the way I did.

If people have a hard time to read when someone's typing something: good chances are that it's not a fact.

During the recent Letter from the Producer LIVE XV, the new chocobo raising system was touched on a bit. You’ll be happy to know that by increasing the rank cap of your companion you’ll be able to allocate more skill points, and if you boost another role to rank 10 you’ll be able to obtain the specialized barding as well.

Also, we will be implementing means to reallocate your points so you can obtain other companion role barding in this way as well; however, you’ll have to break the rank cap and be a high enough rank to do this.

Please implement daily companion quests to greatly speed up leveling this thing. It's way too slow.
