It's only natural. It's been three months since the last patch and there isn't really much to do. I know a lot of people who have left the game temporarily, waiting for the new patches to hit. I'm sure it will be a lot livelier when they finally get 1.18 ready.

Figaro is pretty decent as far as population. Obviously not as packed as release but still a steady amount of players, especially in the morning East Coast time (JP prime time).

Gysahl doesn't look too bad... you can still find large parties hanging around Broken Water still (hell I still find small parties hanging out occasionally in Mor Dhona and the outer rim camps).

Hey Double! Ya lots of JP on our server in the mornings and middle of the night. I do see alot of old timers just posted in town trying to sell stuff from their bazaar though.

My group and I have been server hopping for a week since deciding to come back and can't seem to make out much difference between the servers. Still can't really decide on one either. I have asked for suggestions but no one seems to have any lol.
I play with people I know irl but I would say it's pretty dead... at least that's what I have seen so far. The most interaction I had was in Besaid, when random people stop and buff me or emote at me and go on their way. It's the reason I am there now I guess, but I am still in the server market...

I'll keep an eye on this thread. I'd like to see what others think about your question. Thanks for posting.

Melmond is like wiped out, most you see in Limsa or Grid might be 10 players, Uldah maybe 30 lol

Actually the last few times I ran through Ul'dah on Selbina it seemed a little busier than before.

Gridania is still a ghost town though. Not sure about LL because I have no reason to be there.
