No way is everyone entitled to get SE correct their every mistake.

No but they are entitled to fix 1 mistake. As that is the whole point of the 1 time item restoration. You either accidently used an item an you want it back, or you made a mistake while using the item an want to correct it. So many pissed off people in here. I actually agree with the OP. Many people used their 1 time restoration for fantasia before it was released for sale, and they all did the exact same thing that the OP did. They used the item, and were not happy with the results, an asked for a 2nd chance. How is that any different than what the OP is asking for. They were all granted approval, whereas he was denied. That is not fair. Now if he had already used his 1 time restoration an wanted a 2nd one, then yes the "you used it correctly" excuse would be valid. But if he has not already used the resto, then he is entitled to ask for whatever 1-time item he wants back. So yes it is pretty shitty of SE to refuse just cuz they want him to spend more money.

You actually get warned on the page you can purchase them, before using them and AFTER using them that it's a ONE TIME CHANGE.

If you didn't have the diligence to make an alt to check if the character was up to snuff then, it's completley on your shoulders.

At the end of the day this is a business, they originally allowed people for a small period of time to use the one-time item restoration as recompense for that fact that they weren't available to purchase.

Because that is what it WAS for. Lots of people used it for that. In fact, I did. Like days before they went on sale. So close that I actually got the fantasy I BOUGHT before I got the fantasia they restored for me. They told me Fantasia used "correctly or incorrectly" was eligible. That being said now that you can buy them, of course they won't restore it. Kind of have to expect it.

I don't see the big deal. Get another one. In the grand scheme of things, this is very minor. If you had tossed a relic that represented months of work and they denied you, I could see the frustration. This is a service they offered once for free, and you used it. I think my character looks clueless in a hat, of ANY kind, and I changed her from a hyur to a Roe when I came back. But I'm not going to write SE a letter demanding that they compensate me for it.

I'm going to go with the rest of the community and agree that it's no one's fault but yours. You chose to save the final character. You don't like the way it looks. That's YOUR problem, not SE's. No offense... but I don't feel like you are entitled to a restore if you used the Fantasia the way you were supposed to.

The one time restore is meant to give players the chance to get an item back that they accidentally discarded or sold.

Trust me, I feel your pain. I used a Fantasia on my character because he previously looked like one of the NPCs that was with Yugiri in 2.2 and made the nose too big, but that's life. If you want to change it that bad, just buy another Fantasia.

I could go with your explanation if there wasn't a big icon that pops up in the middle of the screen that makes you confirm that you want to keep the changes you made.
