Ascians:

No, I am afraid the Ascians are not remotely close to being that terrifying. Because if they were, then we too would be Ascians. The Weeping Angels are loads better than the Ascians. I think the only monster that comes even remotely close to being as terrifying as the the Weeping Angels is the Borg. But they don't pull it off because they just don't have the creepiness factor that the Angels have.

The Weeping Angels are the only antagonist from Doctor Who that actually made me freak out. Everytime I see a stone angle statue in a store I point it out to my wife and say "don't blink" and she slaps me :P

I want to make some with their hands over their eyes and put them in stores alongside the normal ones just to freak people out!
