Mine could have been solo'd, I just got blindsided. I was fighting a boss-type then 4 bombs spawned a short distance away, I was setting up to Bane dots, but they never came closer to attack me at all, then after about 15 seconds, they all charged at me at once and Self-Destructed, I went from 100% to 0 in an instant

Edit: Just watched a BLM w/ animus get wrecked in the same spot, different mobs in the fight

Interesting.... wonder if they're trying to push FATE's as the viable option here by making these difficult? Cheeky! Or if he just boo-boo'ed as well lol

Can the maps be done as any class once u get it? Or only by the class with the animus, cause then getting the maps as blm than doing them as smn seems safe.

Why poor Dragoons? And wouldn't Monk be in the same boat for anything that hurts Dragoon? Only SMN has a real distinct advantage but if it works like treasure maps then it's timed so slow burning with Titan might time you out.

This is actually really cool if true; gives more value for people to play together if it reduces the risk of things going wrong.

Confirmed you can be in a party while doing the map and they can help you.
