Unless some of my friends (and some other random people) are flat out lying about them trying out or actively playing on them, they do exist.

It's mostly people tired of the same type of comments about how they miss XI and want XIV to be more like it and saying how great XI was or how they want XYZ completely out of place feature added into XIV or even just the flat out XI fanboys who loathe XIV doing their usual bashing. XI players dug themselves into a stigma.

It really is quite sad :/ I loved XI, and would go back to pre-abyssea XI in a heartbeat. And that's not just nostalgia talking. Only reason I quit was because I started a family, and couldn't manage to find the time to play games for several years.

People fail to realize that it is possible to enjoy XIV while appreciating what XI had to offer. XI did so many things right, but heaven forbid you mention it, because it's now XIV or GTFO.
