Why are they buffing Black Mage

Why are Black Mages getting buffed when good Black Mages in T6 and T7 already put out 250dps which is pretty solid for a caster. Buffing the Black Mage will only cause scrub Black Mages to be on par with good ones while the Black Mages that are good will put out 320dps easily.

This would be like buffing the Summoner just because quit a few of them only can hit 168dps in turn 6 while good Summoner puts out 260dps that would just make good Summoner's beyond op and sub par Summoner's on par with good ones.

The fact that you think 250 is good dps in t6-7 is hilarious. Most DPS i90 and higher can push 300-350 easily. Great dps can pull 400 at i95+.

If you were throwing out an arbitrary number then please don't make it sound like that is the "standard that every dps out there meets... because even among the best players I've seen that can be quite absurd unless they play perfect and never get any chains/shrieks/voices every time they do those turns.

I'm sure I could go around say YA I DID 500 DPS on t6/7 (during my 1 minute short burst all buffs cool down) @i108 mind you. However that would be like a disclosure from an absurd commercial, like a can of soda giving me so much energy I can shoot eye lasers or some crap.

they aren't just buffing Black Mages you know, if you paid attention they plan to adjust all the other jobs so all will be fair. but ofcourse we know someone will be butthurt nomatter what job or jobs get buffs

Yeah people like the OP assume that Yoshi P in company just listens to complaints and just up and changes things... I'm pretty sure they went into the lab tested black mage themselves on T6-9 and came up with their own decision that the job needs to be buffed...

They aren't just doing it because Jimmy and Sarah said so in the general discussion. LOL

they are against the ToS and therefore illegal in the game, pretty sure though they have no real way to know unless you mention them or the parser injects something into the logs.
personally I still think parsers where you can see everyone else's DPS are a bad idea. they cause bad blood so I can see why SE doesn't want them.
