what i dont get is why should blm be entitled to better single target dps. utility arguement is bs imo. in ff11 none cared about puppetmaster or dancers utility in endgame i dont see why it would be different here. in fact i would argue that when they roll out the hybrid role they should strip away utility from the dps roles and give it to the hybrid roles.

A little buff wont push BLM over other jobs, probably just give them a more solid position as 2nd last dps in single target dps. Currently they have trouble not being beaten by bards in a lot of content.

Why are Black Mages getting buffed when good Black Mages in T6 and T7 already put out 250dps which is pretty solid for a caster. Buffing the Black Mage will only cause scrub Black Mages to be on par with good ones while the Black Mages that are good will put out 320dps easily.

This would be like buffing the Summoner just because quit a few of them only can hit 168dps in turn 6 while good Summoner puts out 260dps that would just make good Summoner's beyond op and sub par Summoner's on par with good ones.

To piss you off. Also, as others have said... your DPS numbers are wayyyyy off.
