I was just in a T4 run that just started off with a bang... here is a screenshot of the chat, I have a brown line through my name green line through his, and circled what was said after I asked what I needed to know, I hid all the names,


I've also seen people get ripped if they didn't play a job the way someone else does (or like earlier was just told they "sucked at your job" but no advice whatsoever) then looked up the character and found they "MIGHT" have it unlocked but that's it, here's an idea instead of ripping on someone give advice, and not cut them down.

If you are in a party finder, and do not know what a fight is, especially if it is a group listed as a kill group / farm group, you are going to get chastised for it. Honestly, what did you expect? That everyone would teach you? It is not their job, they are paying to play, not paying to teach.

This is the key point.
You went into the fight asking what to do, you wanted them to teach you something you could have done before by reading a couple of strategy guides. So due to laziness on your side you expected others to do what you couldn't be bothered to do before.

You are if first thing you say is asking what to do. You are not going in blind then. You are going in with a guide. Same as looking at a guide on the internet written by people willing to explain mechanics to help people like the OP. You know those strats people type out for those that don't research the fight but expect others to teach them? They the same thing as guides on the internet they can look up beforehand... go figure.

This is about correct, but even then, your sort of wasting time in this game NOT watching a vid or 2 before going into a end game fight before hand. They are just too complicated to do otherwise and you are too dependent on the other players.

thats thing goes on the other side too saying youtuber are dependent on the other player to create video too... so when i enter a DF that ask me to watch video i should say to leader hummm hey wait 30min ill watch the video of the fight cos you want me to watch it ... LOLLLL when its only take 5sec to say some nice hints

the point is not the hints of the boss fight we dont want to know ....its to see the whole dungeon and the mob how they look like before going in it in real ...like some like to watch cutscene but SR hate so much

anyway why do i care about youtuber point of view when you(youtubers) dont care about OUR point of view .....

me like i said on the box it's not wroted requirement to watch youtube video or wroted in the TOS. And we wont get Ban for not doing it.

And for the one saying about going for surgery hummm Yeah like youtube video will help in that ...but school make you learn by doing it yourself on some dead animal or body ... your not just watching a video how to do it ..but doing it right???? cos being there in the room seing the real thing is better idea then seing a video ... so your comment is not so relevent

You are supposed to know BEFORE you join what to do, do not click the button of join party if you are not prepared. Do you also come in with all gear broken in dungeons or something? Lets just take t5 for instance. You really someone explaining every single mechanic (conflag/fireballs/divebombs/the protection thing i forgot the name off/twisters/dreadnaughts/death sentence) in 5seconds? ANYWAY like i said ..... IF IT'S NOT IN THE TOS ........every people (NOT PART OF SE DEVELOPPER OR COMUNITY and i mean all of ff14 creaters) have no right on tell us what to do or force us to do that. THE GAME WAS MADE AND SOLD FOR EVERYONE ....for complainer about news people or people who look youtube ....their is Party finder ...if you USE Duty Finder don't complain.

And like i said in many Dungeon i did many time ...at some place there is tactic to talk about .... like bards .. who silence first and who is next ... who do ballad first then who do next .... who is MT and who is OT ... so dont tell me you guy goes in it .. and anyone silence without caring both just double silenced becose they didnt prepare ...youtube wont tell you :your the first one to silence ... cos if its was like that ,the other bard would think it too .. and there wont have any organization

True, but then again, knowledge is power....and you shouldn't expect 7 other random people to just out of the kindness of their hearts teach you random endgame content. Especially when there are 'established' ways PuGs do things...meaning DF locks your party into more or less 2/2/4 and there's very little change in how each group decides to clear the content. No one is asking you to spoil the story, nor is anyone forced into learning the basics of what to do/expect beforehand. But if you really truely want the 'blind' 'i'll figure it out as I go experience' you really should make your own group, as that is the only way you'll really accomplish that. Otherwise, what you're really wanting is a carry...or for others to do your homework for you (explaining the battle before engaging).

Also, people rely too much on DF/PF and not enough on Statics/Free Companies/Linkshells etc. Most of the content Post Mainstoryline is really designed for a static group to do....so it's cool that you wish to 'pug' it....but again, you're relying on those other 7 people to know the basics of the fight and be semi-skilled, you should be too.

If you DF it without any prior knowledge fine, but tell the party, and let them decide if they wish to help you. Also, wait for them to tell you pointers about the battle if they decide to help you, don't just rush in Rambo style.
