It amuses me that Titan EX is a gatekeeping fight for the Primal content after him, all of which is much easier. I'm sure that'll reflect well on the health of endgame by the time 2.5 is out.

That said, keep at it, OP. Eventually you'll roll the right lucky group, just like you'll roll the right lucky Atma drop...an LS or FC helps if you can get one.

I haven't been able to win a single Titan EX with party finder groups ever since the 2.2 patch (made several attempts but always fail even with i90 groups and echo...). I would beat him every week for about the month leading up to the patch but people capable of killing him consistently have moved on to better things I think.

DF is pure luck.
You might get a good group if you're lucky, but chances are high that you can only use DF to practice the fight.

If you don't have a FC which is willing to help you (if they don't want to help you, you might want to look for another), Party finder is the best option you have.
Make your own party and let people know what you want in the search comments.
If you get people who can dodge and they stick with the party, you have good chances at a win.
If someone gets hit by landslide or plumes again and again, even though it might be harsh, you should replace them.

Dmg and HP usually are not the problem. Especially with the buff up to 25%.
The most important thing at Titan is still the ability to dodge plumes and landslides reliably.

For me I was just lucky to eventually land a PF group who mostly came from the same FC and work well together, and we beat him twice. Now I am stuck again on Ifrit landing mostly parties who don't know what to do. I've just stopped doing them very often because I don't have a reliable group to call on.

Just tried it again but it's impossible. WoL always hits me no matter how fast I run. I sprint farther than everybody else and I still get hit while people who move after a second get no damage. I am beyond frustration, there's not even a learning curve.

Months here. I've only killed TitEx once and will definitely NOT going back again.

If you have done the fight enough to know the pattern just count to 3 between moves. Tumult (1,2, "RUN!") Plumes.
This is how I downed the fight when I was running on a really crappy pc with minimum settings. Now with a high end machine I can move right when the plumes appear under me and still get out.

I wonder WHY Titan is not the last primal each time. His mechanics is just too strong to NOT be the last
