Blowfin, you really need to step back from the forums for a while. In this thread alone you've shown some need to have the last word/win the argument. Problem is, you are trying to create arguments by purposefully misinterpreting either sarcasm or hyperbole. Please do yourself a favor and walk away.

If people stop misinterpreting the thread and slinging mud at the playerbase I might do just that.

And there was no argument, just some chump trying to put words in my mouth for dozens of posts. I'm not going to allow someone to just frame me in whatever light they feel like to suit their side of things. Sorry if this offends you, it's called having a spine.

I do not see the harm in adding in iLvl 110 for sol tomes at a slow rate. It worked fine in 2.0-2.1. I saw no complaining (except for Mr. Special Snowflake 3941 who wanted to feel super cool because he won at the weekly coil lottery every week and had his iLvl 90 gear after 2 months and started to cry over the fact that others had the same iLvl). I would be fine with this system if coil rewarded special tomes to everyone attending to get gear and not the stupid gear lottery. I seriously ran coil for every week for over half of 2.0 and 2.1 until I took a break. I got 2 drops during that time while I saw others doing coil their first week getting 3 drops. That is my issue with this system and why I think ilvl 110 should be buyable with tomes. To prevent RNG based character progress.

You CAN upgrade sol gear at a slow rate; it's called Sands of Time. Too bad you'll never get any. Not till echo buff anyway. lol

Just as a point of correction, i100 SLD gear cannot be dyed. i110 upgraded gear can.

Well it's a pretty nice incentive for upgrading the gear. The weapons change appearance when you upgrade them so it would be pretty lame if the armor didn't.

I'm really struggling to find any examples of people asking for handouts in this thread. If you find them, kindly quote them to substantiate your claim.

You reading and comprehension skills are deplorable. It's clear he can see what I see which is a lot of casuals complaining that gear isn't handed to them. There are more people like this in this thread(don't ask me to find them all) who for some reason have such a strong opinion regarding coil loot despite the fact they can't do coil. No it won't. i110 is better than i100.

Doing that the legit method with queue times...... by that time I think ilvl50 armor will be out with increased levels.

If I am not mistaken, for PVP gear, materia effects do not kick in unless inside the Wolves' Den. Therefore, all your melds will have no effects for PVE content.
