No they don't lol.
Stop trying to continue bullying people into thinking your mindset is the "normal" way. It isn't. Reporting abuse is what it's for. Again, watching cutscenes is *not* harassment.

Someone with a twitter account could just ask confirmation from the reps so we can make this guy choke in his words. They answer on twitter even during weekend.

I vote for solution 3: make the story cutscenes for the Lv50 dungeons unskippable; everyone has to sit through them, regardless of how many times you've previously completed the dungeon. But also double the current tomestone payouts. There are 2 possible solutions I can think about:
Solution 1:
SE delete current story dungeons and make solo versions of them.
Solution 2:
SE keep the dungeons the same but split them to fractions where each fraction counts as a trial on DF, and is made up of 1 start cs, 1 end cs.

yeah because people are going to sit around and watch cut scenes for 30mins to get 20 extra tomes....

1) Vote kicking someone because they're watching a cutscene is a reportable offense, as it's against the intended use of the feature (there was a dev post about it somewhere, but I can't seem to find it).
2) The duty roulette was implemented as a way to help fill parties for all the duties in the duty finder, and its rewards were set as an incentive for people to join and help. That's specially true for the low level, main story and trial roulettes, for obvious reasons.
3) Even originally, the philo rewards that were given in CM and Prae were an incentive for players that had already completed them so that these duties wouldn't die and newbies weren't SOL. That didn't work as expected as many of you know, and SE should had predicted that the same thing would happen again with the duty roulette.
4) People doing the main story roulette ONLY for the myth tomes and that are kicking newcomers aren't just abusing the system, they're stupid. And not just because they can be reported, but because doing Brayflox with a FC or party finder premade is way faster, and no one annoys someone else that way (no, you won't waste your precious time either).
5) A lot of things don't work and it's not entirely SE's fault, but the players' too. These kind of things didn't happen that often some years ago, when people over the net (and the real world) weren't dicks like they're nowadays. No amount of incentives is going to change that and make them "help" anyone instead of just thinking in their own gain, screwing everyone else in the process. In fact, rewards even promote that they'll do exactly that, unless you also penalize them harshly when they abuse the rules.
I like how I get a temp ban from god knows what today which I think because I posted a "Doge" pics since
it was deleted off a topic. [Only like 3 hours.] meanwhile I reported Vesper like 5 times and he's still here.
All he's done is trying his hardest to troll and insult and belittle everyone did I mention insult?
Which is against the ToS? Yeah, lemme get in trouble from doge's and we have king troll here
trying to piss us off lol.

Except if your doing a duty roulette designed to help new players and give veterans a reward for helping new players, to vote kick based only for watching cut scenes and nothing else is a violation to their TOS. Abuse of the system, really. Square Enix takes that very seriously. Did I not mention it goes against everything the Duty Roulette was designed for?Sorry, but you are just incorrect on pretty much all fronts. None of it bugs me. The fact of the matter is when there 8 people in a grp, and 7 of them vote to kick someone for holding up the group, it's 100% legit. People can talk all they want how those 7 people are going to get banned yadda yadda yadda, but at the end of the day those 7 people are going to go on with their dungeon, and that one person is (hopefully) going to learn that they are no more special than anyone else, and when placed in a random grp with randoms, it's best to go along with the group and not expect everyone else to accommodate you.
I'm with the "make the level 50 dungeon cut scenes mandatory" and unskippable but double or triple the mythology reward.
If your going to do the Main Scenario Duty Roulette(Or the low level roulette), expect new people and expect to be waiting for the cut scenes. Your suppose to be helping them, not yourself. If your only there for yourself and your farming it, then don't do the Duty Roulette. Sure, it would suck for you but you could double or triple your myth count with a bayflox hard mode run with Party Finder. Way easier and you can speedrun it to your heart's desire.
This guy is just a troll and clearly a good example why we can't have nice things.

I also suggested this. If CM and Prae's cut scenes were unskippable by everyone, then the abusers will have 0 reasons to abuse the vote kick system. These are main scenario story dungeons. So they should get treated as such. But there's no need to increase the payout.
How you figure that? Sorry, but "You're wrong" doesn't give me anything to work with. Your counterclaim lacks a solid explanation and evidence to support it. The only thing here I find embarrassing is that someone as smart as you has this many people explaining how wrong you are, yet you're still convinced that your view on the matter is correct. Oh well, it's your choice. People usually don't admit their mistakes or admit that they've changed their way of thinking. It's unfortunate that you've earned the label of "troll" by participating in this discussion.
i am curious where could i read duty roulette was designed for helping new players? i thought duty roulette was design to motivate old players online everyday? ^^;
