I am bard lvl 73, am I realistically ready for binding coil?

Turn 1 and turn 2 yes. Turn 4, you need to be at least item level 77, DF requirements. With echo, that should be enough. Item level 82 for turn 5.

Assuming you primary job arc (assuming you have done brd quests) is correct, yes. The utility you provide on that job outweights the dmg detriment. Just know your job before you go in. Anything else you want to be in the 80s. That is assuming you meet the minimum ilvl which i don't have handy.

Just be sure your accuracy meets the requirements. If you go in with 420 or lower acc, you're gonna have a bad time.

You are actually at an excellent ilevel to start doing coil - the drops will be awesome and you will be getting great Myth and Sol!

I'd go in with a learning group first to see what each turn is all about, but with echo your iLVL is boosted from i75 to basically i86 (15% buff), so you will be more than capable of preforming what the mechanics dictate!

Agree with what others have said. You can farm T1 and T2 for some allagan gear that should boost you up . T3 has no gear
I believe T1 is were i got allagan gloves for my Bard if i recall
