Character Mannerisms & Aesthetics

I've noticed the emotes and style of character design in 2.0 to be more flamboyant and cartoon-inspired. Can we expect more organic, natural emoting and gestures in the future?

It seems many facial features, including hairstyles & facial hair, are gated by race/clan. Are there plans to add more facial features and more simple, practical hairstyles for male characters?

Can we expect to see any new, awesome low level vanity items from crafting? From dungeons? Or perhaps rare chances from monsters of all levels?

It seems we're half way to making our retainers true companions. I say that because FFXIV at one time had such a system in place, and now our retainers can be equipped with gear and sent out for missions. Are there any plans to make retainers full companions in the future like our chocobo?
